Vanilla Sans – A visual identity inspired by code and symbols
To accompany Vanilla Sans, I designed a visual identity rooted in the world of code and symbolic languages. Its name refers to "vanilla code," a pure and essential version, while its graphic aesthetic draws inspiration from tags, glyphs, and structured typographic systems. Each letter becomes a visual symbol, reinforced by a set of 26 patterns integrated into the typeface. These geometric forms, assigned to uppercase letters, create the impression of a coded system, reminiscent of digital architectures and modular structures in computational design. The identity follows this logic of a graphic language, where typography and symbols coexist to form a structured and evocative universe. This approach gives Vanilla Sans a strong visual dimension, designed as a readable yet encrypted system, where each element echoes the world of code and digital design.
